WWE News: Possible Spoiler For Tonight’s SmackDown Live, Superstar Returning?
Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW brought a big surprise to many members of the WWE Universe when WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels was in the ring to discuss the upcoming match between Triple H and The Undertaker at Super Show-Down on October 6th in Australia.
As ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ made it known he was supporting his friend and DX cohort ‘The Game’, the lights in the arena went out and that familiar gong sound echoed through the building for a surprise appearance by The Undertaker. Today, we have some news on another possible surprise return for tonight’s SmackDown Live from Detroit, but certainly not on the same level of someone such as ‘The Demon of Death Valley’.
According to PWInsider, James Ellsworth is backstage at the Little Caesars Arena for tonight’s show, however it’s not known exactly why he is there. Of course, Ellsworth was (storyline) fired from SmackDown Live back on July 24th by General Manager Paige after returning just over a month prior on June 17th at Money In The Bank. Ellsworth was only being used on a per-appearance basis and was never actually under a WWE contract this time around.
