WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Cleveland, Ohio (9/1/18)

While the Monday Night RAW roster has been trekking across the globe since last Wednesday, the Superstars of WWE’s SmackDown Live stayed stateside this weekend for their Live Events.

Last night, the blue brand was in Cleveland, Ohio for a card that featured some big matches including The New Day defending the SmackDown Tag Titles against The Bar, Jeff Hardy challenged Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship, plus The Miz returned to his hometown to take on Daniel Bryan. Below are the results:

• SmackDown Tag Titles: The New Day retained over The Bar
• Naomi defeated Sonya Deville
• The Usos defeated SAnitY
• Rusev & Lana defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas & Zelina Vega
• United States Title: Shinsuke Nakamura retained over Jeff Hardy
• Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
• R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin
• Asuka & Charlotte Flair defeated Becky Lynch & Carmella
• WWE Title: AJ Styles retained over Samoa Joe
