WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Las Cruces, New Mexico (9/23/18)

WWE’s SmackDown Live roster has been touring the Southwest this weekend on their way towards the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado for the second of two nights of television for the main roster.

After spending Saturday night in Tucson, Arizona (see results here), the blue brand was off to Las Cruces, New Mexico for last night’s Live Event. Among the action, fans got to see Samoa Joe challenging AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Becky Lynch defending the SmackDown Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair, plus NXT’s Nikki Cross teaming up with Asuka and Naomi in a 6-Woman Tag. Below are the results:

• SmackDown Tag Title Triple Threat: The New Day retained over SAnitY & The Usos
• Asuka, Naomi & Nikki Cross defeated Carmella & The IIconics
• R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin
• United States Title Triple Threat: Shinsuke Nakamura retained over Jeff Hardy & Randy Orton
• Rusev defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas
• SmackDown Women’s Title: Becky Lynch retained over Charlotte Flair
• WWE Title: AJ Styles retained over Samoa Joe
