WWE News: The Latest On Nia Jax’s Whereabouts

It’s been quite some time now since we last saw WWE Superstar Nia Jax on television, making her last appearance nearly two months ago at Extreme Rules on July 15th. On that night, ‘The Irresistible Force’ invoked her rematch clause for the RAW Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss after losing it the previous month at Money In The Bank, however came up short in her effort.

Since then, there’s been a lot of speculation regarding what’s going on with Nia, as there has been talk she is suffering from an undisclosed injury. Despite the rumors, Nia has stated that she is not injured which also led to rumors she was simply taking some time off from television or having a “cool down” period before returning.

Today, PWInsider is reporting that the former RAW Women’s Champion has in fact been out with an injury to her leg, however details are still not known at this time. Currently, Nia is down at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida doing physical therapy this week. Generally when a Superstar is out with an injury, working out at the Performance Center is the final step towards getting cleared for in-ring action again. However, there is still no timetable for her return.
