WWE News: The Latest On Paul Heyman’s Return To Television

It was nearly a month ago now when we last saw Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman on a WWE screen, making their last appearance together at SummerSlam on August 19th. While we did see Heyman one more time the following night on RAW, it had already been well known that Brock was set to focus on making a UFC return and neither man has been around since.

We would learn that the company was having discussions about continuing to use Heyman on-camera (read about that here), there has been no evidence leading us to believe his return was imminent to this point. Today there is news regarding that as PWInsider reports that Heyman has continued to work behind-the-scenes at recent television tapings, something he had started doing back in July when he was credited as a writer on a RAW production sheet.

At this time, it’s not known how long Heyman will be working in a behind-the-scenes capacity, however it’s being said that he’s “settling into” the role while awaiting a possible spot on television. If you remember, it was previously thought that Ronda Rousey could be paired together with Paul Heyman, however it was stated that was likely to not happen given the current direction.
