WWE News: Update On Alexa Bliss’ Injury, Mixed Match Challenge Status

As it was noted earlier today, WWE announced that Alexa Bliss suffered an arm injury Sunday at Hell In A Cell in her match against RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey (see the story here).

While Alexa appeared on RAW last night, she was not physically involved in any of the action and was not in her gear. With ‘Little Miss Bliss’ set to team with Braun Strowman tonight for the premiere of season two of WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, she will now be replaced by Ember Moon. Since all of this information was released first by WWE, it was not known if Alexa’s injury was legitimate or not.

According to PWInsider, Bliss is in fact hurt, thus her removal from the Mixed Match Challenge tonight and this weekend’s Live Events. At this time, no details are known on the exact nature of the injury. As for the Mixed Match Challenge, the plan is for Alexa to rejoin Braun Strowman if the pair advances and she’s medically cleared when they’re scheduled to compete again. She is also still scheduled to face Trish Stratus at Evolution on October 28th.
