MLW News: Tommy Dreamer vs. Brian Pillman Jr. Announced For Fightland

Major League Wrestling’s debut in Chicago is just over two weeks away as the promotion heads to Cicero Stadium on November 8th for Fightland, a set of Fusion television tapings.

Already announced for the show called Fightland, which will also be an MLW Fusion television taping, is Shane Strickland’s rematch for the MLW World Heavyweight Title against Low Ki, an MLW World Tag Team Title match as LA Park and El Hijo de LA Park challenge Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix. On top of that, CMLL star Rush debuts against Sammy Guevara, PCO vs. Brody King in a No Disqualification battle, Joey Ryan and Swoggle against The Dirty Blondes, plus Marko Stunt with a big size disadvantage as he meets Ace Romero.

Today, it’s been revealed the youngest member of The Hart Foundation will have a tough test when Brian Pillman Jr. faces off against Tommy Dreamer:

BRIAN PILMAN JR. VS. TOMMY DREAMER IN A BATTLE FOR RESPECT ON NOVEMBER 8 IN CHICAGO AT MLW FIGHTLAND

CHICAGO – Following a violent attack on Kevin Sullivan, the Hart Foundation’s Brian Pillman Jr. wants to add the head of another legend to his mantle: the “Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer… and Dreamer has accepted the challenge.

Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Tommy Dreamer has been signed for Major League Wrestling FIGHTLAND in Chicago at Cicero Stadium.  The November 8th card is an MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $10 at http://www.MLWTickets.com.

The 2018 breakout rookie Brian Pillman Jr. has made waves since signing with Major League Wrestling.  After the shocking betrayal of his mentor Kevin Sullivan, Pillman formally linked up with Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr. as the third member of the Hart Foundation.  Since then, Pillman and has been rubbing the entire locker room the wrong way.  Some would say Pillman has let fame go to his head.  Others believe he is a bit too cocky for a rookie.

Tommy Dreamer, who built his career on respect and a fondness for the legends that came before him has taken exception to Pillman’s obnoxious conduct.  Forever the “Innovator of Violence”, Dreamer now looks to humble the rookie Pillman as they meet for the first time on November 8th.

Will the rise of Brian Pillman Jr. continue? Or will Tommy Dreamer knock some sense (via a Singapore cane) into the youngest member of the Hart Foundation?
