More Matches Added To NWA 70th Anniversary Show This Month

The National Wrestling Alliance’s big 70 Anniversary show from the Nashville Fairgrounds (also known as the TNA Asylum) is now just over two weeks away, taking place on Sunday, October 21st.

The event has already announced some huge matches for the show including Cody defending the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship against Nick Aldis in a 2/3 Falls match, plus an eight man tournament to crown the new NWA National Heavyweight Champion and Jazz defending the NWA World Women’s Title. Today, two more matches have been added to the card including an appearance by a WWE Hall Of Famer.

First, Tim Storm will go one-on-one with Peter Avalon, looking to take his win streak over Avalon to three in a row. Next, Road Warrior Animal will accompany the team of Crimson and Jax Dane as they issue an open challenge. Here’s a look at the updated lineup:
