Results From Last Night’s NWA 70th Anniversary (10/21/18)

The day finally had come yesterday as the National Wrestling Alliance took over the Nashville Fairgrounds (also known as the TNA Asylum) for their 70th Anniversary show last night.

Among all the action, Nick Aldis challenged Cody for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title in a 2/3 Falls main event, a tournament to crown a new NWA National Heavyweight Champion took place, plus Jazz’s NWA World Women’s Title was on the line and much more. Here’s a look at the results from the big event:

• NWA National Heavyweight Title Tournament Fatal 4-Way: Sam Shaw defeated Colt Cabana, Sammy Guevara & Scorpio Sky
• Barrett Brown defeated Laredo Kid
• NWA National Heavyweight Title Tournament Fatal 4-Way: Willie Mack defeated Ricky Starks, Jay Bradley & Mike Parrow
• Tim Storm defeated Peter Avalon
• NWA World Women’s Title: Jazz retained over Penelope Ford
• NWA National Heavyweight Title Tournament Finals: Willie Mack defeated Sam Shaw to become the new champion
• The War Kings (Crimson & Jax Dane) w/Road Warrior Animal defeated Crazzy Steve & Shannon Moore
• NWA World’s Heavyweight Title 2/3 Falls: Nick Aldis defeated Cody to become the new champion
