Who Could Be The New Face Of WWE?

WWE has now the opportunity to choose a new face of the company, one that will guide the promotion But the question of WHO is the biggest one yet.

The terrible news of Roman Reigns tacking a step back from WWE due to his condition has manage to shake up things in the main event status of the card in WWE. In this promotion the show must go on and the possibility of an early retirement for Roman is very real.

To start what happened to Roman was terrible and I wish him the best but let’s remember Roman so far as the face of this company he has been a failure in a lot of ways and the blame is 95% on creative and 5% on himself. Roman was not a very good talker with promos being average in his best day and in the ring, he is not a terrible wrestler like most people like to say he is but he was just average in the ring with A LOT of boring matches in his resume so far.

Kenny Omega

If WWE really wants Omega, this could be the perfect chance, the best wrestler in the world has a open future right now and WWE looks desperate to signing him and his friends from The Elite in a way to stop the rise of NJPW\ROH that has been happening in the last 4 years.

If WWE offers Kenny the position of top star of the company plus a great deal of money, WWE will sign one of the best wrestlers the business has to offer.

Kenny is a very complete wrestler, with an amazing move set and matches under his belt that are catalogued as some of the best matches in this business, also let’s not forget his charisma is out of this world and his promo skills are amazing, so he is all WWE is looking to sign in a top star lead WWE.

But the big problem is Kenny enjoys the creative freedom NJPW offers him and the fact he can perform the level of matches he is doing with NJPW right now. Kenny is a once in a generation wrestler and I see very difficult Kenny choosing money over the freedom he has right now.

Seth Rollins

The workhorse of WWE has another chance to prove himself has a possible face of WWE, we saw this already when he was WWE champion back in 2015 , despite WWE booking was not that great during his title run he manage to work the best he could with the poor material given something that the face of WWE should always be able to do .

In paper he looks like the best option that WWE has to the position but there is a problem, when Rollins got back from his Injury, his initial run as face as very underwhelming and left a bad taste of Vince McMahon and once he has a bad taste on you, you are doomed until the changes his mind and could happen who knows when.

Velveteen Dream

Young and oozes charisma like no other wrestler does in WWE and in all the business in general. He is talented in the ring with a lot of growth to do, and his promo abilities are amazing which should not surprise anyone.

The problem is that he is too young and the position could overwhelm the young wrestler, but another problem is Vince McMahon, who could not understand the character he is portraying and end up being Goldust 2.0 which would be a shame for a wrestler with main event potential.

Braun Strowman

For someone of his size he is very fast but in the ring his matches follow a similar pattern and fans are starting to get bored on the pattern his matches are having. In the promo department he is good but just like his ring abilities they follow a predictable pattern, it’s true that most fans are behind him, but his predictable pattern could doomed him the same way it did to Roman.

Other names you could say are in contendership are Rousey, Ambrose, Adam Cole and Drew McIntyre  but only time will tell which man will take the most important position in WWE.
