WWE News: More Names Being Advertised For SmackDown 1000

Two weeks out from the 1000th episode of WWE SmackDown on October 16th, the lineup for the show continues growing the closer to the date we come.

Earlier today, it was noted that local advertising in the Washington D.C. area is promoting former SmackDown General Managers Vickie Guerrero and Teddy Long for the show (check that out here). This is on top of WWE Hall Of Famer Edge reportedly being booked (read that here), The Undertaker, an Evolution reunion with Ric Flair, Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista (find that here), plus the return of Rey Mysterio.

Now, it appears as if two more former Superstars can be added to the number of appearances as PWInsider is reporting local advertising is also promoting Michelle McCool and Torrie Wilson. We last saw McCool and Wilson back in January in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble. Both were members of the SmackDown roster previously with McCool notably paired up with Layla as LayCool, while Torrie made her WWE debut on SmackDown in 2001 as a part of the Invasion angle. McCool is also a two-time Divas Champion and two-time Women’s Champion.
