WWE News: More NXT Names Scheduled To Be At Evolution *Includes Spoilers*

WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view Evolution is rapidly approaching now, just under three weeks away from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

Last night on RAW, it was announced that RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Nikki Bella, plus the previously scheduled Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss and Lita vs. Mickie James matches have now become a tag team affair. Also, it was previously reported that a number of NXT Superstars were scheduled to be at the event, however their involvement is not yet known (check that out here).

Today, PWInsider is confirming even more NXT names will be in attendance as Kacy Catanzaro, Rhea Ripley, Mia Yim and Lacey Evans are all scheduled to be at Evolution. Just like before, it’s not known what exactly is planned, if anything, for the NXT Superstars. However, it should be noted that the current speculation is a possible Battle Royal in an attempt to get as many of the company’s female Superstars onto the card as possible.

Also, with Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley being among the names reported by PWInsider, it should be noted that Shirai is set for the Finals of the Mae Young Classic against Toni Storm. Ripley is the current NXT UK Women’s Champion, which there has also been speculation of her defending that title at Evolution. Therefore, Shirai and Ripley may not be involved in a potential Battle Royal.
