WWE News: Preview Tonight’s SmackDown 1000 (10/16/18)

The time has finally arrived as the WWE heads to the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. to celebrate tonight’s 1000th episode of SmackDown Live.

Tonight’s broadcast is set to be loaded with appearances and big matches, likely with video packages looking back at some of SmackDown’s greatest moments of the last 19 years. We already know The Undertaker will be in the building, plus an Evolution reunion will take place on top of other returns and two World Cup Qualifying matches.

Here’s a look at what else is happening on the blue brand, live at 8PM EST on the USA Network. Keep up with all the action right here on The Chairshot with Mitchell’s Live Report also starting at 8PM:

• Rey Mysterio returns to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a World Cup Qualifier
• The Undertaker is in the house, but with Triple H also in the building will there be fireworks?
• Evolution reunites as Batista, Ric Flair and Triple H all come to SmackDown to join Randy Orton
• Can The Miz earn the last World Cup spot when he faces Rusev?
