It was not a stellar week for Monday Night RAW in the ratings last week, as the red brand saw another decrease for the fifth straight week and a new record low for the show’s history. With WWE Super Show-Down just days away, could RAW turn things around this week?

Unfortunately, that’s not the case as last night’s numbers are in and RAW comes in with a 2.302, breaking last week’s record low for the program’s history and a 2% decrease from last week. Here’s a look at the last four weeks of ratings for the red brand:

• September 10th: 2.740
• September 17th: 2.672
• September 24th: 2.349
• October 1st: 2.302

Additionally, for the first time in a very long time, Monday Night RAW dropped completely out of the top five in the Cable Top 150 Rankings for the 18-49 demographic. Here is this week’s top five, plus RAW’s rankings:

1. Monday Night Football – ESPN – 4.63
2. Monday Nigh Kickoff – ESPN – 1.77
3. SportsCenter (12AM Hour) – ESPN – 1.54
4. Monday Night Countdown – ESPN – 0.98
5. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood – VH1 – 0.87
6. Monday Night RAW (8PM Hour) – USA Network – 0.78
7. Monday Night RAW (9PM Hour) – USA Network – 0.76
8. Monday Night RAW (10PM Hour) – USA Network – 0.75

EA’s Take: So much for theories that last week’s RAW drew a record low because Ronda Rousey wasn’t on the show, seeing as it made zero difference this week with her actually having a match. I’m sure the people that hate WWE’s booking are doing cartwheels right now, but personally, I’m still not worried. I’ve expected things to get much worse before they begin to get better, which still won’t be until after football season. Plus, I don’t think people are as excited for Super Show-Down as they would be a regular PPV, so you don’t get the same people tuning in for the “go-home” show since most people likely won’t be waking up at 5AM to watch this one. It’s not that this week was a bad show because it was much better than any other effort over the past few weeks, it just doesn’t matter much what WWE does right now.
