WWE News: Sasha Banks Advertised For Live Event Prior To Evolution

It has now been a few weeks since we’ve had any updates regarding the status of WWE Superstar Sasha Banks after it was announced back on September 21st by WWE that ‘The Boss’ was suffering from an injury and therefore would be replaced in the Mixed Match Challenge by Mickie James (read about that here).

All things have remained quiet surrounding Banks since, however multiple outlets have reported that the company is keeping tight-lipped about Sasha for unknown reasons. Of course, this has led to a ton of unfounded speculation, but more importantly has left the chances of ‘The Boss’ being at WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, on Sunday, October 28th from the Nassau Coliseum in doubt. To this point, Sasha has been one of the names advertised for the show without a scheduled match along with Carmella, Nia Jax, Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool.

Although there is still no word on what exactly is ailing Sasha, today WWE has begun advertising her for Live Events once again, more specifically the October 20th RAW Live Event in Portland, Maine. Previously, Sasha had been removed from all Live Event advertising. This is of course just eight days before Evolution, meaning she could be returning just in time. However and as always, cards are subject to change.
