WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From White Plains, New York (10/22/18)

WWE’s SmackDown Live heads to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey this evening for its final episode before Evolution this Sunday, but first had some business to attend to last night.

While RAW was on the air, the blue brand was in White Plains, New York to finish out its Live Events string that featured The Bar defending the SmackDown Tag Titles against The New Day in the main event, Shinsuke Nakamura challenging AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, as well as Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz. As has been noted, Rey Mysterio was originally scheduled for the event, however WWE made a switch and moved around some of his dates. Below are last night’s results:

• Rusev defeated Aiden English
• Asuka & Carmella defeated The IIconics
• Jeff Hardy defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas, Randy Orton came out after the match and dropped Hardy with an RKO
• SmackDown Women’s Title: Becky Lynch retained over Charlotte Flair
• WWE Title: AJ Styles retained over Shinsuke Nakamura
• Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
• SmackDown Tag Titles: The Bar retained over The New Day
