WWE News: Superstar Returns On RAW, Battle Royal For Evolution Announced

Following up on tonight’s opening contest of Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler, Monday Night RAW presented a Women’s Tag Team match that saw a surprise return.

Tamina Snuka, who has been on the shelf since January after rotator cuff surgery, was partnered up with Dana Brooke to take on the team of Ember Moon and Nia Jax. Additionally, at the same time it was announced that at the company’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view Evolution, there will be a Battle Royal and the winner will receive a future title shot.

Taking part in the Battle Royal will be of course the aforementioned Ember Moon, Nia Jax, Dana Brooke and Tamina along with Alicia Fox, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. Not long after, Michael Cole would add that Naomi, Asuka, Carmella, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and the return of Torrie Wilson. Torrie last competed inside a WWE ring back in January in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match:

Previously, a Battle Royal had been speculated as a number of NXT Superstars are scheduled to be at Evolution (read more about that here).
