WWE News: Update On Alexa Bliss’ Return To The Road

Although she has been present on every episode of Monday Night RAW, it’s been roughly a month now since WWE announced Alexa Bliss had been injured during her match against Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Title at Hell In A Cell on September 16th.

Bliss was subsequently removed from the Mixed Match Challenge and replaced by Ember Moon due to an unspecified arm injury. At the time, the belief was that Alexa would take her spot back upon her return and that her scheduled match against Trish Stratus at Evolution was not in any jeopardy.

Since then, that match has now been changed to a tag where Alexa teams with Mickie James to face Trish and Lita, leading many to believe that perhaps Bliss’ injury was more severe than what we thought. Meanwhile, reports stated that the plan was always to change Alexa’s match into a tag as the company merely used it as a tool to promote the event until they could run an angle for the Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella match (read about that here).

Today, PWInsider has reported that Alexa is scheduled to go back on the road for Live Events this weekend as the RAW brand heads to Bangor, Maine on Friday and then Portland, Maine on Saturday. Currently, Bliss is only being advertised for the Bangor Live Event.
