WWE News: WWE Championship Match Now Set For Crown Jewel

WWE Super Show-Down has now just wrapped up from the Melbourne Cricket Grounds in Australia, but that doesn’t mean it’s too soon to look ahead to Crown Jewel.

At Super Show-Down, WWE Champion AJ Styles was finally able to get some revenge on Samoa Joe, successfully defending his title in a No Disqualification, No Count-Out match to continue his reign at over 330 days. Later on, Daniel Bryan and The Miz looked to settle their rivalry with the winner being the next man in contention for Styles’ championship, meaning the stakes couldn’t be much higher.

While many expected Bryan to exact revenge on ‘The A-Lister’ in a similar fashion to Styles’ retribution earlier in the show, however that was not the case. Bryan would end up taking advantage of a distracted Miz, utilizing a surprise roll-up from behind while ‘The A-Lister’ argued with the official to gain the three count. The match was very short only lasting a handful of minutes, but it was long enough to secure Bryan’s shot at the WWE Title.

Therefore, it’s now official as Daniel Bryan will go one-on-one with AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel on Friday, November 2nd.
