WWE News: WWE Planning To Use Lita & Trish Stratus Beyond Evolution

While it remains to be seen if Alexa Bliss will be good to go after possibly suffering a concussion over the weekend (check that story here), this Sunday is still scheduled to see Bliss and Mickie James take on the WWE Hall Of Fame tandem of Lita and Trish Stratus at Evolution.

In the weeks leading up to the match, it’s seemed to the WWE Universe that this was just a one-off for Lita and Trish so they could be involved with the company’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view. However, it looks like we could continue to see the multi-time Women’s Champions more in the near future.

According to PWInsider, WWE does have plans to use Lita and Trish moving forward, at least for big events. At this time there are no details on what exactly the company has up its sleeve for the two, however the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania have reportedly been discussed. Of course, we saw both of them this past January in their first in-ring action in years when they competed in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
