Former ROH Star Said To Be On WWE’s Radar For Early-2019
A former Ring Of Honor star could be on his way to the WWE!
Recently, we’ve noted that the WWE is expected to announce a new Performance Center class in January with the belief that MLW and EVOLVE star Shane Strickland will be a part of that group (see that story here), as well as former IMPACT Wrestling star Trevor Lee (find that here).
While just those two could make for an exceptional class of recruits, it looks like a former Ring Of Honor star could also be joining them. According to PWInsider, they have confirmed WWE has “strong interest” in ACH, who most recently has been competing for New Japan Pro Wrestling and Major League Wrestling. It’s being said that pending the usual medical and other evaluations, the former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion will be making his way to NXT.
Additionally, PWInsider has also noted that ROH was in talks about a deal to bring ACH back to the promotion, however those talks ended without an agreement being reached. The 30-year old, 11-year veteran has also spent time with IMPACT Wrestling, AAA Lucha Libre and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
