Caristico, Volador Jr, and Mistico vs Pentagon Jr, Mephisto, and Ephesto

Volador and Ephesto start out in this match but that doesn’t last long. Volador hits a sunset flip on Mephisto and then Caristico hits a cross body. Pentagon comes in but Mistico hits a springboard hurricanrana on him. Caristico, Mistico, and Volador all hit dives to the outside. Volador and Caristico hit dives to the outside and Mistico hits a Canadian destroyer on Pentagon for the fall. First Fall: Mistico pins Pentagon Jr with a Canadian destroyer.

Pentagon does his Cero Miedo pose on Volador, who proceeds to take his shirt off. Caristico hits a hurricanrana on Ephesto then Mistico comes in hitting a splash on Mephisto. Caristico and Volador go for dives but Pentagon and Mephisto pull them out. Ephesto and Mistico are in the ring, but Pentagon and Mephisto catch him and they help him assist Ephesto with a power bomb for the fall. Second Fall: Ephesto hits a power bomb on Mistico for the pin.

They brawl on the outside to start the third fall. Ephesto goes for Mistico’s mask. Pentagon beats on Caristico on the outside. They do some team up move where Mephisto stands on Volador but Mistico hurricanranas him off. Volador hits a handspring elbow on the other two. Mistico hits a hurricanrana pin on Ephesto but he kicks out. Volador goes for a springboard attack but Mephisto catches him for a slam. Mephisto hits a basement drop kick for a two count. Caristico hits a handspring elbow on Ephesto for a two count.

Pentagon and Caristico exchange strikes in the ring. They then trade super kicks. A tower of doom spot gets done and they go for pins but everyone kicks out. Volador launches Caristico from the ramp for a hurricanrana on Pentagon. Mistico hits an asai moonsault on Pentagon and Volador hits a jump up hurricanrana on Ephesto for the pin. Caristico does a head scissors into a Fujiwara arm bar on Mephisto for the win. Third Fall: Caristico submits Mephisto with a Fujiwara arm bar.

Winners: Caristico, Volador Jr, and Mistico

Leyenda de Plata Tournament Finals: Cavernario vs Fenix

This is supposed to be the main event or that’s what it was billed as, but it’s being switched I guess. They tie up to start and do some grappling where they have counters for each other, trying to get position. They start to perform some acrobatic spots now. Fenix hits a big dive over the top on Cavernario. In the ring Cavernario hits a running razors edge in the corner. He super kicks Fenix, who falls out of the ring then Cavernario hits an over the top rope dive. Fenix gets his feet up on Cavernario’s splash and hits a cutter which Cavernario kicks out of. Fenix hits a sit out driver for the first fall. First Fall: Fenix pins Cavernario with a sit out driver.

Cavernario beats on Fenix on the outside to start. Throwing him on the barricade. Cavernario continues to beat on him till Fenix hits a code breaker for a close two. Fenix hits a twirling dive to the outside on Cavernario. Fenix goes for another dive and Cavernario moves so he lands flat on his back. Cavernario goes to the top rope and hits his splash to the outside. Fenix can’t answer the call and gets counted out. Second Fall: Fenix gets counted out after he can’t get back in the ring after Cavernario’s splash.

Cavernario beats on him some more to start the round then gets him in a camel clutch .Fenix powers out of it and eggs the crowd on. Fenix hits a jumping cutter from the ramp for a two count. Fenix runs the ropes and hits a jump stomp to Cavernario’s back on the apron. Fenix walks the ropes again and hits an asai corkscrew moonsault. He brings him back in to pin and gets a two count. Cavernario walks up the ramp and Fenix follows. Cavernario slams him then runs up to the stage and hits his splash again. He drags him back to the ring and goes for the pin but Fenix kicks out.

Cavernario goes to the top but Fenix hits an upper cut then hits a jumping Spanish Fly from the top on him. Cavernario kicks out at two. That move is barely kicked out of in Mexico. Cavernario goes his running splash but Fenix gets the legs up, Cavernario blocks it and kicks him. Cavernario goes for his lean back camel clutch but Fenix is able to get out. Cavernario then goes for the arm tucked suplex and Fenix kicks out again.

Cavernario gets him in a surfboard stretch but Fenix grabs the ropes and goes to the outside. Cavernario hits a middle rope dive off the apron to knock down Fenix. Cavernario gets him in the ring and goes for the pin but Fenix kicks out. Cavernario goes to the top again but Fenix blocks and hits the Fenix driver but Fenix sells it a bit protecting his finisher and Cavernario kicks out. Then after Cavernario gets him in the lean back camel clutch in the middle of the ring to win the match. Third Fall: Cavernario submits Fenix with a lean back camel clutch to win Leyenda de Plata.

They’re bringing Fenix to the back on a stretcher for whatever reason. Really selling that submission hold. Or they’re doing it because he’s the AAA Mega Champion.

Winner: Cavernario

Mascara Ano 2000, Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero vs Ultimo Guerrero, Euforia, Gran Guerrero, and Templario

They’re doing a ceremony before this match. Already at the two hour mark and the match hasn’t started. Usually CMLL shows are rarely ever over two hours. Templario is in Los Guerrero’s green and he starts with Forastero. They trade some spots and both throw drop kicks for the stale mate. Anos is in with Ultimo Guerrero now. Ano is working with his mask on like before he got unmasked.

Euforia gets teamed on, spine buster by Ano and double press by Sanson and Cuatrero. Triple drop kicks are hit on Euforia in the corner. Then they stack Templario and Gran Guerrero on him in the corner. Cuatrero launches Forastero into them, then Sanson launches Cautrero for the pin. First Fall: Cuatrero and Forastero pin Templario and Gran Guerrero after being launched into them.

Templario gets teamed on to start this round. A come back gets made and Los Guerrero’s drop kick Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero off the apron. Templario drop kicks Mascara to the outside and then hits a middle rope dive. In the ring Ultimo submits Sanson with a gory special while Euforia and Gran Guerrero had the other two in submissions. Second Fall: Ultimo Guerrero submits Sanson with a gory special.

In between rounds they do the famous Los Guerrero’s team spot with Templario. Templario and Mascara start this round but Templario gets the better of them. Him and Gran Guerrero then work over Forastero. Euforia gets Sanson in a gory special and then Gran and Templario clothesline him. Finally Mascara and Ultimo are in the ring but not for long. Ultimo misses an attack and falls out of the ring. Cuatrero hits a middle rope dive on Euforia.

Templario runs on Gran’s back for a dive. Then Gran Guerrero hits a dive of his own. Forastero hits a jump up flip off to the outside now. Ultimo and Mascara are in the ring now. Guerrero goes for a school boy but holds the ropes. He argues with the ref, then Mascara gets him in a school boy for the win. Third Fall: Mascara Ano 2000 pins Ultimo Guerrero with a school boy.

Winners: Mascara Ano 2000, Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero
