AAA on Twitch 11/18

The hot angle for this show was Psycho Clown coming out to complain about the match makers for pairing him with Blue Demon Jr. Konnan comes out with Cage and tells him Fantasma is in charge for the main event. Cage doesn’t like this so they turn on him. Blue Demon Jr and Cage got swapped for the main event. Brian Cage, Psycho Clown, and La Parka did defeat Hijo Del Fantasma, Blue Demon Jr, and Texano Jr. Cage pinned Texano Jr with an F5. The Co-main event saw Mamba, Maximo, and Murder Clown facing La Mascara, Rey Escorpion, and Monster Clown. Mascara defeated Maximo with a low blow, but the story here was Maximo wanting to challenge Mascara to a hair vs hair match on the January 1st show. Pagano and Joe Lider faced Ciclope and Miedo Extremos in a ridiculous hardcore battle filled with dangerous spots that weren’t all performed smoothly. The finish saw Pagano hitting a Spanish Fly on Ciclope through a burning table with thumb tact on it.

Lucha Capital

There’s no AAA show on Twitch for a few weeks, so Lucha Capital will be done here.

Mocho Cota Jr vs Argenis

Konnan has replaced Vampiro on commentary. I’m sure that has Vampiro fuming. Cota Jr vs Argenis wasn’t the scheduled match but some things changed for match up reasons. Cota gets the advantage early beating on Argenis on the outside. He gets him in the ring and continues to work on him. Argenis hits a dive to gain momentum. Cota hits a nice power slam to balance things out. Argenis gets Cota to the top and hits a hurricanrana for the win. Argenis pins Mocho Cota Jr with a hurricanrana from the top.

Winner: Argenis

Mascarita Sagrado vs Hijo Del Vikingo

Originally scheduled to be Kross vs Mascarita. Thank god they didn’t do that. They stare each other down to start at first. They trade slaps to the chest briefly before the pace gets picked up. Vikingo hits a head scissors then works over Mascarita. Vikingo goes for a running attack in the corner but misses and falls out of the ring. Mascarita hits a splash off the top rope on him. In the ring Mascarita hits a hurricanrana off the top rope. Vikingo goes for a choke slam but Mascarita counters into a victory roll for a two count. Vikingo gets him in a toe hold and Mascarita reverses it into a pin for a two count. Mascarita looks to hit a splash off the top but Vikingo catches him for a swinging slam. He goes to the top and hits a shooting star press for the win. Hijo Del Vikingo pins Mascarita Sagrado with a shooting star press.

Winner: Hijo Del Vikingo

Puma King vs Drago

Drago faces off against Puma King. Originally listed as Pagano vs Puma King. This should be better. They start the match with some submission wrestling, trading holds and locks trying to get the better position. Finally Drago gets the advantage by hitting a dive to the outside on Puma King. In the ring Puma catches him in a flap jack then hits a super kick. Puma King then hits him with a delay vertical suplex. Drago goes for a dive but Puma intercepts him with a super kick, then runs to the top and hits a dive to the outside on Drago. Puma King goes to the top but Drago runs up and hits an arm drag. Drago goes for a victory roll but Puma counters it into a blue thunder bomb.

Drago hits a tornado DDT off the top, then a spike DDT but Puma kicks out at two. Puma catches Drago with a power bomb, then code breaker for another two count. Drago goes for a hurricanrana off the top but Puma reverses it into a power bomb. They almost botched that badly. They wrestle for pinning combinations and Puma gets one but Drago reverses it for the win. Drago beats Puma King with a counter to a pinning combination.

Winner: Drago
