Ever since news started circulating that Jim Ross and Chris Jericho were going to start a wrestling promotion, the wrestling world has been a buzz. Now that there have been rumors regarding recent trademark filings such as All Elite Wrestling, AEW, AEW All Out, and Tuesday Night Dynamite, fans have started to take notice. The Young Bucks recently made an appearance on the Petey Williams podcast, Petey’s Wrestling Perspective, and addressed rumors that they are involved in starting the promotion.

Matt Jackson would state that a second ALL IN started being discussed shortly after the first, and that they needed to protect themselves and be proactive in case there is a potential second show. He also went on to state that they are sticking together with Cody Rhodes and will be putting things together as a unit.

Nick Jackson would go on to state that they have been given offers from promotions all over the globe, but they are keeping their options open while protecting themselves and their future endeavors.

Jason’s Take
I would love to see an alternative promotion to WWE. Competition never does hurt. While their is still speculation as to who is actually involved with the promotion, Ross, Jericho, Rhodes and the Bucks know wrestling. I think the potential roadblock would be the company getting a television deal. WGN always seems to surface as a network that is interested in wrestling. They looked into WCW in 2000 when it was for sale, as well as ECW. While highly unlikely, I have to wonder if a promotion like this could work on the WWE Network ? While I am only pipe dreaming, WWE has sent out various surveys about what we want to see on the network as a far as independent promotions and their programming. Far fetched, yes, but not out of the realm of possibility.
