WWE News: John Cena Returning To Action After Christmas

John Cena will be back in action for the WWE after Christmas!

With his Hollywood career growing and filming schedule for multiple projects also expanding, we don’t see much of 16-time WWE Champion John Cena inside the squared circle these days.

The last time we saw Cena was of course back at Super Show-Down in Australia on October 6th (check out Mitchell’s Super Show-Down Report), picking up a win alongside Bobby Lashley over Elias and Kevin Owens. However, members of the ‘Cenation’ won’t have to wait much longer to see him in the squared circle.

Today, PWInsider is reporting they have confirmed Cena’s WWE return on December 26th, the day after Christmas, for four Live Events:

• December 26th: Madison Square Garden (RAW Live Event)
• December 27th: Nassau Coliseum, New York (SmackDown Live Event)
• December 28th: Baltimore, Maryland (SmackDown Live Event)
• December 30th: Tampa, Florida (SmackDown Live Event)

While nothing has been confirmed, the current speculation is that Cena’s WWE schedule could pick back up again in January as the company begins the road to WrestleMania on April 7th from MetLife Stadium.
