WWE News: Rollins Defends By Himself, New RAW Tag Team Champions Crowned

While technically Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are the titleholders, it’s been a couple of weeks now that we’ve seemingly been without RAW Tag Team Champions after they defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre for the titles, but then Ambrose shockingly turned on his partner.

With Rollins and Ambrose now at odds and not on the same page, it was very unlikely that they would be coming together for any title defenses and has left the WWE Universe wondering what would become of the championships. Tonight on RAW, Seth made his way to the squared circle and once again addressed Ambrose while the RAW Tag Titles draped around his neck, then spoke about how he can’t defend them on his own.

Acting General Manager Baron Corbin would appear on the screen and disagree, telling Rollins that he would defend them against AOP. With Drake Maverick flanking and firing up Akam and Rezar, ‘The Architect’ was left all alone to battle both monsters. Unfortunately, he never really had much chance and and despite a resilient effort, we had new RAW Tag Team Champions.
