WWE News: Tag Team Action Added To Tonight’s SmackDown Live

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be in action tonight on SmackDown Live!

We’re just a few hours away from tonight’s newest WWE SmackDown Live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While we know that AJ Styles and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will both be back on the blue brand this evening (check out the SmackDown Live Preview), we had yet to hear of any matches for the show.

Today, one match has now been announced as SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar will meet The Usos, who look to get themselves right back into title contention. Here is WWE’s official announcement on the match:

The Usos continued their hot streak by notching a victory over The New Day to earn the captaincy of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, then leading Team Blue to victory in the 10-on-10 Tag Team Elimination Match against Team Raw by emerging as the bout’s sole survivors.

Now, Jimmy & Jey Uso will turn their attention toward Team Blue’s top tandem: SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar. These two teams will clash in non-title action Tuesday night. Can The Usos thrust themselves back into the title picture, or will Sheamus & Cesaro prove why they set the bar for tag teams?
