WWE News: Update On Braun Strowman, Injury Confirmed

An update on Braun Strowman’s injury!

As was noted this morning, there had been conflicting reports regarding the injury angle run on Monday Night RAW last night with WWE Superstar Braun Strowman (read about those here).

While one side was saying the injury was merely a part of the storyline for Strowman’s upcoming match at TLC against Baron Corbin, another was reporting ‘The Monster Among Men’ was in need of elbow surgery and could miss the match entirely. Now, it looks like one of those has been proven to be correct…to a degree.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has just issued a correction on his initial report that the injury is only a work, confirming that Braun is in fact hurt. However with regards to surgery, Johnson reports that it’s not a certainty until ‘The Monster Among Men’ undergoes further evaluation this week. Additionally, it’s said that the injury is only minor and the belief is he will be able to compete at TLC on December 16th.

As for when this issue popped up, which was something we noted that Braun previously dealt with in the Spring of 2017, former IMPACT Wrestling star Matt Morgan stated on last night’s episode of the WrestlingInc podcast that Strowman has had the problem since a match against Big Show in September 2017.
