WWE News: WWE’s TV Taping Schedule For The Holidays

WWE’s television schedule for the holiday season will be a bit different this year!

As we approach the holiday season here in the United States with Chrismas and New Year’s right around the corner, WWE will be giving their Superstars a much needed break this year.

Last year, RAW fell on a Monday which meant that the Superstars did not get Christmas or the following night off. However this year, WWE will be taping episodes of the red and blue brand as the roster will be getting a full week with their families for the holiday. On Monday, December 17th, WWE will be having RAW in Sacramento, California, then will also tape the December 24th edition of the broadcast the same night. As for SmackDown Live the next night, the same holds true for its Christmas night episode which will be taped after the live December 18th show.

The calendar also puts New Year’s Eve and Day on a Monday and Tuesday in 2019, however there will not be any shows on those dates. Instead, the company will be taping RAW the Friday before in Detroit on December 28th and then SmackDown Live the next night, Saturday, December 29th in Pittsburgh.

Currently, there’s no word on what will be done with 205 Live or Main Event, which are taped prior to SmackDown Live and RAW.
