Although Roman Reigns’ leukemia battle isn’t exactly what you would call an “injury”, if you were to include him to the list of Superstars who are either on the shelf with an injury or are reportedly working hurt, it reads even more like a who’s who.

With Reigns out, Sami Zayn still recuperating from two shoulder surgeries, Kevin Owens recently having two knee surgeries, Bobby Lashley dealing with a shoulder issue and Alexa Bliss still not competing, that in itself is a bit of an “Injury All-Star Team”. Heck, throw Tye Dillinger on that list too. Now, it looks like another one of the top Superstars from Monday Night RAW may also be dealing with health issues.

According to Dave Meltzer on the recent Wrestling Observer Radio, ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman is working through two “blown out” knees right now. However, due to Roman’s leave of absence and Strowman being positioned as the next Universal Champion, he’s feeling the pressure and pushing through the pain. This comes after there have been few-and-far between talk from some fans that Braun has been noticeably limping around.

At this time there are no specifics on what exactly Strowman could be working around or if he will need to have any type of surgery in the future.

EA’s Take: Real specific there, Dave. When I hear someone say “blown out knee”, that means your knee has completely been destroyed…you know, “blown out”. That implies an explosion of some sort and with that type of an injury, I don’t care who you are, you’re not walking, let alone wrestling with two of them. So I think that’s a bit sensationalist of a term to use right now. For all we know he might just need a scope and a month to recover, which while painful, is certainly more manageable to work with.
