Joe’s CMLL Results & Review (12/3/2018)

Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja, and Soberano Jr vs El Terrible, Dark Magic (Okumura), La Bestia Del Ring

Dark Magic advertised and even still listed on their site as being in this match but it’s Okumura. I just feel the need to point out false advertisement for AAA and CMLL. Though CMLL gets more of a pass cause they don’t use it as a storyline to deceive you.

Match starts with Niebla Roja and Okumura in the ring. They tie up and start to grapple. Roja uses acrobatic counters to get out of holds. Soberano Jr and Terrible are in next. Terrible tries to use his size to his advantage but Soberano’s speed is too much for him. Bestia comes in and drop kicks him and a brawl breaks out. Bestia beating on Oro on the ramp while Terrible and Okumura take on Roja and Soberano in the ring. Bestia hits a running senton on Soberano for the pin. Terrible hits a flapjack on Rojo then puts him in a stretch for the fall. First Fall: Terrible submits Niebla Roja with a stretch submission.

The second round starts with the rudos teaming up on everyone. Soberano makes a come back hitting a hurricanrana on Okumura and then a flip dive over the top rope. In the ring, Roja holds Oro and slams him for a leg drop on Bestia. Roja does a victory roll into a leg drop for the fall on Terrible. Second Fall: Niebla Roja does a victory roll into a leg drop for the fall on Terrible.

Oro and Bestia fight in the crowd to start. Then they bring it into the ring. Oro uses his athleticism to his advantage and takes out Okumura too. He goes chest to chest with Terrible in a stare down. They trade slaps to the chest and Terrible wins that battle. They then trade running strikes at each other and Oro wins that battle. Bestia is in next with Roja. Roja uses his athleticism to get the advantage. He hurricanranas Okumura and Terrible out of the ring as well.

Soberano and Okumura go at it but it soon becomes him getting teamed on by Bestia and Terrible. Soberano fights back and hits a drop kick into a splash in the corner. Roja is back in there with Terrible and Terrible gets the better of him. Roja hits a dive on Terrible but in the ring Okumura hits a cutter on Soberano for the pin. Bestia hits a cradle pile driver on Oro for the win. Third Fall: La Bestia Del Ring pins Angel de Oro with a cradle pile driver.

Winners: El Terrible, Okumura, and La Bestia Del Ring

Caristico, Volador Jr, and El Valiente vs Mephisto, Luciferno, and Ephesto

Luciferno and Valiente wrestle for a bit then Ephesto and Volador come in. Volador hits an arm drag and Ephesto loses it. Mephisto gets in with Caristico and Mephisto punches his partners off the apron and then Caristico gets teamed on. They get him up for a power bomb. Mephisto hits the power bomb for the fall. First Fall: Mephisto pins Caristico with a power bomb.

They start the round beating on Caristico. Valiente tries to help out but he’s taken out as well. Mephisto, Luciferno, and Ephesto goes to do dives but Caristico grabs Mephisto and pulls him out, then Volador and Valiente roll up Ephesto and Luciferno with a school boy. Second Fall: Volador and Valiente roll up Ephesto and Luciferno with school boys.

There’s a ton of posturing to start the final round. Ephesto and Luciferno try to double Volador but fail. Volador botches a hurricanrana on Luciferno but they go with it anyway. He takes out Mephisto with a head scissors to the outside. Caristico takes out Ephesto and then gets the leg up on Luciferno and Mephisto. They regroup on the outside. Valiente hits a monkey flip on Mephisto, then hits a middle rope dive on Ephesto. Volador then hits a dive over the top on Luciferno. In the ring Caristico does the head scissors into a Fujiwara arm bar for the win. Third Fall: Caristico submits Mephisto with a Fujiwara arm bar.

Winners: Caristico, Volador Jr, and El Valiente
