MLW News: Falls Count Anywhere Match Announced For Never Say Never

MLW has announced a Falls Count Anywhere Match for Never Say Never in Miami!

Coming up on December 13th and 14th, Major League Wrestling will head to Miami, Florida for two Fusion television tapings with Never Say Never, followed by Zero Hour live on beIN Sports (see that announcement here).

Despite some recent injuries to Rey Fenix (find that here), Tom Lawlor and MJF (see more on those here), the card for each event is still pretty stacked as MLW closes out 2018 with a bang. This morning, MLW has made another big match official for the Never Say Never event, revealing that LA Park will go into battle against Sami Callihan in a Falls Count Anywhere Match:

Sami Callihan vs. LA Park falls count anywhere in Miami set for MLW Dec 13

MIAMI – The road to MLW’s December double shot debut in Miami just took a shocking turn.  LA Park (presented by Salina de la Renta) vs. Sami Callihan in a Falls Count Anywhere in Miami bout is official. The bout is a featured match on Thursday night December 13th MLW: Never Say Never cardat the Miami Scottish Rite Temple.

PCO has withdrawn from his December 13th Falls Count Anywhere in Miami bout and has suspiciously vanished from the league.

As league officials worked through the weekend on a new opponent for LA Park, rumblings about a falling out between Salina de la Renta’s Promociones Dorado and their hired mercenary Sami Callihan began to surface.  Some claim Saline de la Renta was furious with Callihan failing to take out Lawlor last month in Chicago.  Another source claims LA Park was disrespectful towards Callihan backstage and it triggered Callihan into demanding a match.  While details are sketchy, one thing is for sure: there is bad blood between Callihan and Promociones Dorado.

With chaos overcoming the league, officials were bombarded Saturday night by Promociones Dorado and Callihan to set a match for Miami.

With LA Park having an opening in his Falls Count Anywhere in Miami bout, an opportunity presented itself with Sami Callihan stepping into the match.

Two brawlers now collide in what could be the most crazy Falls Count Anywhere bout in the history of the sport. See it live next Thursday December 13th in Miami (buy tickets)

TNA Impact on AMC Drops to 175,000 Viewers, 0.03 18-49 Rating Amid Heavy Sports Competition

Published

on

TNA Thursday Night Impact averaged 175,000 viewers on AMC last week, a 17.5% decline from the previous week’s 212,000 and the lowest audience since January 22. The show posted a 0.03 rating in the key 18-49 demo, down 25% and matching its lowest demo figure on AMC since the move.

The drop coincided with stiff competition — Impact ran opposite the NFL Draft (simulcast on ESPN, ABC and the NFL Network) as well as NHL and NBA playoff coverage, leaving the program tied for 70th on the primetime cable charts. Versus the prior 10-week average (0.04 rating and 240,300 viewers), last week’s show fell 25% in the demo and 27.2% in overall viewers.

Nick Hogan Open to Pursuing In-Ring Career After Viewing Hulk Hogan: Real American

Published

on

Nick Hogan told the Bonus Edition of the 83 Weeks podcast that after watching the final version of Hulk Hogan: Real American he’s more open than ever to stepping into the ring if the opportunity presents itself. Hogan said he’s been knocking off ring rust, is in good shape and “would absolutely welcome” the chance to pursue an in‑ring career, and noted the docuseries — which premiered on Netflix on April 22, 2026 — helped clarify his father’s legacy.

He also praised the series for pulling back the curtain on the many facets of Hulk Hogan, from character work to charitable efforts, saying it showed how dynamic a person his father is. Nick added that the long-discussed Chris Hemsworth biopic from 2019 remains a possibility despite delays, as the documentary continues to renew interest in Hogan’s story.
