ROH News: Another Independent Star Signs With Ring Of Honor

Ring Of Honor has signed Brody King to a contract!

As was noted earlier today, former WWE Tag Team Champion and the recently revamped PCO has signed an exclusive deal with Ring Of Honor (check out that story here) as the company adds outside talent to its roster.

We’ve also followed the impending free agency of top ROH stars such as Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Jay Lethal and Silas Young, with both Lethal (find that here) and Young (see that here) deciding to re-up with the promotion whereas Cody and The Young Bucks are all but out the door at the moment. In some more news today, Ring Of Honor has added another fresh face to its depth chart, scooping up a top independent talent that had been on WWE’s radar.

PWInsider is reporting that Brody King has signed an ROH contract and is expected to be starting with the promotion at the upcoming Final Battle Fallout television tapings in Philadelphia on December 15th. It’s being said that the deal was signed and has been “in place for several weeks”, however King is finishing up his scheduled independent bookings before moving to Ring Of Honor exclusively. Of course, this comes after news back in September that WWE’s William Regal was in attendance for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle Of Los Angeles to scout WALTER (who the company recently signed), as well as Brody King (see that story here).
