ROH News: Big Six-Man Tag Announced For Honor Reigns Supreme

Marty Scurll Three Stars
Villain Enterprises will be in action at Ring Of Honor’s Honor Reigns Supreme!

On the eve of the New Year, we’re now less than two weeks out from Ring Of Honor returning to action on January 12th for Saturday Night At Center Stage, followed the next night by Honor Reigns Supreme.

To this date, only three matches have been revealed for the event as Jay Lethal defends his ROH World Title against Dalton Castle (find that announcement here), The Kingdom takes on Delirious, Luchasaurus and Shane ‘Hurricane’ Helms in a ROH World Six-Man Title Proving Ground Match (more on that here), plus Jenny Rose challenges Kelly Klein for the WOH World Championship (see that here).

Today, Ring Of Honor has made another match official for the show as Marty Scurll, PCO and Brody King, collectively known as Villain Enterprises, will square-off against Silas Young and ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes in a Six-Man Tag:

The Best Wrestling on the Planet returns to Concord, N.C., on Sunday, Jan. 13 for Honor Reigns Supreme at Cabarrus Arena. The top stars in Ring of Honor will do battle on a can’t-miss show that will be streamed live worldwide for HonorClub.

All roads lead to the G1 Supercard, co-promoted by ROH and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6, 2019, and the happenings in Concord undoubtedly will have an impact on the historic show.

When surrounded by The Kingdom in Philadelphia, “The Villain” Marty Scurll demonstrated he is not alone in ROH following the exit of The Elite. As the lights fell once and then twice, Brody King and PCO made their ROH debuts to assist “The Villain” in ridding the ring of The Kingdom! Scurll declared Villain Enterprises has arrived in ROH!

VILLAIN ENTERPRISES (“THE VILLAIN” MARTY SCURLL, BRODY KING, & PCO) vs. SILAS YOUNG & ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPION THE BRISCOES (JAY & MARK)

Following the horrific beatdown of The Elite and then World Champion Jay Lethal, Flip Gordon, Best Friends, and Colt Cabana, the World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes, Silas Young, Shane Taylor, and Bully Ray have seemed to have formed a loose alliance, at least one bent on “taking back their Ring of Honor” as was stated in the HonorClub exclusive Elite send off.

While the connection between this group of men is unclear, the five ambushed the Elite and then proceeded to fight off their opponents one by one in one of the most horrific scenes in recent ROH memory. The five left bodies laying as they trash talked fans, nearly inciting a riot as the 2300 Arena had to turn off the lights in order to get the group out of the ring, fans safely out of the building, and security involved.

The new Villain Enterprises group had left the building at the conclusion of the main event and was not in attendance for the beatdown but has seen the footage. “The Villain”, King, and PCO want their opportunity to stand up to three of the five athletes that caused the near uncontrollable chaos in Philadelphia and they will meet them in the squared circle in Concord!

Who will pick up the victory in this HUGE six-man tag team bout? Join us in Concord or watch live on HonorClub to find out!

TNA Impact on AMC Drops to 175,000 Viewers, 0.03 18-49 Rating Amid Heavy Sports Competition

Published

on

TNA Thursday Night Impact averaged 175,000 viewers on AMC last week, a 17.5% decline from the previous week’s 212,000 and the lowest audience since January 22. The show posted a 0.03 rating in the key 18-49 demo, down 25% and matching its lowest demo figure on AMC since the move.

The drop coincided with stiff competition — Impact ran opposite the NFL Draft (simulcast on ESPN, ABC and the NFL Network) as well as NHL and NBA playoff coverage, leaving the program tied for 70th on the primetime cable charts. Versus the prior 10-week average (0.04 rating and 240,300 viewers), last week’s show fell 25% in the demo and 27.2% in overall viewers.

Nick Hogan Open to Pursuing In-Ring Career After Viewing Hulk Hogan: Real American

Published

on

Nick Hogan told the Bonus Edition of the 83 Weeks podcast that after watching the final version of Hulk Hogan: Real American he’s more open than ever to stepping into the ring if the opportunity presents itself. Hogan said he’s been knocking off ring rust, is in good shape and “would absolutely welcome” the chance to pursue an in‑ring career, and noted the docuseries — which premiered on Netflix on April 22, 2026 — helped clarify his father’s legacy.

He also praised the series for pulling back the curtain on the many facets of Hulk Hogan, from character work to charitable efforts, saying it showed how dynamic a person his father is. Nick added that the long-discussed Chris Hemsworth biopic from 2019 remains a possibility despite delays, as the documentary continues to renew interest in Hogan’s story.
