WWE News: New RAW Tag Team Champions Crowned Tonight

We’ve got new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions!

Tonight’s final episode of WWE Monday Night RAW before TLC this Sunday kicked off with Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins goading General Manager Elect Baron Corbin into a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match this evening. Unfortunately for Rollins, the title will also be on the line (keep up with all the happenings on RAW with Mitchell’s Live Report).

Following that, the RAW Tag Team Championships were on the line, but not in the traditional sense as Bobby Roode and Chad Gable challenged not only AOP, but Drake Maverick in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match. With the power of Akam and Rezar, Drake was able to avoid getting himself too scathed up through the course of the contest, as the champions were able to thwart any offensive opportunities by the challengers with brute force.

As AOP seemed to have the match in hand, Maverick would call for the tag to get the fall just as he did last week. This time though, he took too long to soak in the moment, as Roode would surprise his nonchalant cover with a cradle to steal a three count and the titles.
