WWE Rumors: Speculation On Alexa Bliss’ In-Ring Return

The latest speculation on when Alexa Bliss could return to action!

It’s been a number of months now since we last saw WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss competing in the ring, suffering multiple concussions in a short time frame back in October which has kept her sidelined.

We’ve heard how WWE won’t be rushing ‘Little Miss Bliss’ back into action (read that story here), taking every precaution with the multi-time Women’s Champion now that everyone’s well aware of how serious concussions are in this day and age. There had been some miscommunication regarding Alexa’s status recently due to some comments made by Mark Henry (find that here), yet it’s looked like the company is sticking to its guns as Bliss has still not competed and has even been off of television of late (check out spoilers for this coming Monday’s RAW).

Today, there’s more talk regarding Bliss’ in-ring return as Bryan Alvarez discussed her next television appearance on Wrestling Observer Radio, also noting that as recently as a couple of weeks back he had heard Alexa would be back in the squared circle at Royal Rumble. Of course, nothing has been confirmed at this time.

EA’s Take: I’m not sure how true this is, but it has been a long time since she’s been out and a return at Royal Rumble would make a lot of sense. If this is in fact the plan, personally I’d like to see her as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. I’m willing to bet that she will be in it either way since she didn’t get to take part last year, but if it was up to me, I’d keep that quiet. However, I don’t think WWE would do that and likely will want to promote her return. Who knows, maybe even set-up a WrestleMania match against Trish Stratus?
