Main Event Set For WrestleMania

The Wrestlemania card is starting to take shape. Last night on RAW, Becky Lynch announced that she would take on Ronda Rousey at the biggest pay per view of the year. Also last night, HHH decided that Seth Rollins needed to make his decision as to who he would face as well. The end of RAW saw Seth Rollins come out to confront and attack Brock Lesnar, but for his efforts, he received multiple F5’s. While Rollins didn’t officially state who he would face at WrestleMania, WWE tweeted that the match for WrestleMania is official.

Jason’s Take:
Personally, the better match would have been Rollins taking on Daniel Bryan. But, I understand that Rollins versus Lesnar is the money match up for the company. The story line does write itself. Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank at WrestleMania 31 during the Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns main event. Rollins would go on to injure his ACL and vacate the title a little over seven months later. Rollins would win the title at Money In The Bank the following year, but would lose it right after to Dean Ambrose who cashed in his Money In The Bank.

The company never truly capitalized on Rollins injury return, and at times it has seemed the company has kept him as a mid level, mid card talent. If there were a time the company should give him a second push, it’s now.
