NJPW Reportedly Will Not Be Working All Elite Wrestling

A new report states that NJPW will not be working with AEW!

Now that we know former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega will indeed be leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling (read the story here), it remains to be seen what the next step in his career with reports of WWE making quite the offer for the services of ‘The Cleaner’.

Of course, All Elite Wrestling is where a lot of fans believe Omega will land, that also remains to be seen. Kenny’s departure from New Japan also led to some speculation that could mean they will not be working with AEW, as it was recently reported that company representatives, along with reps for Ring Of Honor, were all set for a meeting to discuss having a working relationship (check that out here).

Today it looks like one of those parties has come to a decision on that front, as Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that New Japan Pro Wrestling will continue working with Ring Of Honor, which was expected since the companies have the G1 Supercard coming up at Madison Square Garden in April. However as it pertains to AEW, it looks like All Elite Wrestling is being left out in the cold as Meltzer adds that NJPW will not be working with them, at least for right now.
