NWA News: New Years Clash Pop-Up Event Results (1/5/19)

Results from last night’s NWA New Years Clash!

Just like many other promotions around the world, the National Wrestling Alliance was back in action for the first time in the New Year last night with their first NWA Pop-Up event, New Years Clash, in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The show featured all of the NWA’s top titles on the line as IMPACT Wrestling’s Allie challenged Jazz for the NWA Women’s Title, Matt Cross took on Willie Mack for the NWA National Title, plus the main event pitted James Storm against Nick Aldis for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship. Below are the results:

• Maxx Stardom defeated Jeremiah Plunkett
• Crockett Cup Qualifier: The War Kings (Crimson & Jax Dane) defeated Jay Bradley & Caleb Konley
• Tried-N-True Title: Crazzy Steve defeated Samuel Shaw to become the new champion
• NWA Women’s Title: Allie defeated Jazz by DQ
• Hair vs. Hair Match: David Arquette & Tim Storm defeated Jocephus & His Spiritual Advisor
• NWA National Title: Willie Mack retained over Matt Cross
• NWA World’s Heavyweight Title: Nick Aldis retained over James Storm
