Royal Rumble Results: Women’s Royal Rumble Match

The women’s Royal Rumble match did not disappoint. There was much speculation as to which former WWE Women would return, and what NXT stars we would see in the match. The ending saw Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as the last two women in the match. After Nia Jax was eliminated, she attacked Becky Lynch, injuring Lynchs’ knee. Lynch refused to stop wrestling, and Charlotte would go on to attack the knee. Becky Lynch would go on to eliminate Flair in a apron spot, and will go on to WrestleMania.

Jason’s Thoughts:
What a Rumble match! Lots of great moments including a very strong showing by Lacey Evans, a chop off between Sane and Flair, a face off between Flair and Evans (id pay to see that match), Mandy Rose eliminating Naomi after already being eliminated…..the ending itself was not a surprise, and set’s up a great WrestleMania main event, unless there is a change to a triple threat.

I could have done without the Maria and Alicia Fox team-up, and the Horsnswoggle moments, however.
