Speculation On Lars Sullivan & RAW Last Week, Debut, WrestleMania Plans & More

The latest talk regarding what’s going on with Lars Sullivan!

As has been noted, new NXT call-up Lars Sullivan was scheduled for what likely would have been a dark match before last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, but suffered some sort of anxiety or panic attack and left the show early (see the story here).

While ‘The Freak’ reportedly flew back home and did not appear at any other events, such as SmackDown Live which is was also scheduled for, it was also reported that the company was quite understanding of the issue and there would likely not hurt his standing. Oddly enough, around the same time that this news came out, it was reported that there were plans in place for John Cena to take on Sullivan at WrestleMania in April (check that out here). However, there could be more to the story now.

According to Rajah, WWE did speak with Lars after he had flown back to Colorado, but he then missed a number of other events over the weekend and has not spoken to the company for a number of days now. Rajah also adds that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is now “extremely unhappy at this turn of events” and is directing it towards Triple H, who strongly advocated for Sullivan to be brought over from NXT.

Lastly, it’s also noted that ‘The Freak’ is currently scheduled to finally appear on RAW next Monday in a pre-taped segment that will kickoff the feud with Cena. However, at the same time the report also claims that the scheduled segment and possible WrestleMania match are “clearly up in the air”.

EA’s Take: I’m a little stumped here. On some levels I can see where all of this could be true. On the other hand, I could also envision a scenario where WWE told Sullivan he could just stay home until next week’s RAW when they spoke and this is completely fabricated. I’m really uncertain if I’m being honest.
