Results from last night’s NXT Live Event in San Diego!

As we’re on the brink of tomorrow’s NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, last night the Superstars of WWE’s third brand began their journey towards the desert with a Live Event in San Diego, California.

Fans who attended got to see a preview of tomorrow night’s event as Bianca Belair challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Title, War Raiders got a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships, plus ‘The King Of Bros’ went one-on-one with Kassius Ohno. On top of that, San Diego’s hometown hero Rey Mysterio made a surprise appearance as well. Below are the results:

• Matt Riddle defeated Kassius Ohno
• Io Shirai & Kairi Sane defeated Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir
• The Velveteen Dream defeated Dominik Dijakovic
• The Street Profits defeated The Forgotten Sons
• ‘The Finest’ Kona Reeves comes to the ring and cuts a promo on San Diego, leading to Rey Mysterio making his way down and clearing Kona out with a 619
• Tyler Bate defeated Adam Cole
• NXT Tag Team Titles: The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) retained over War Raiders
• NXT Women’s Title: Shayna Baszler retained over Bianca Belair
• Johnny Gargano defeated Aleister Black after interference by NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa
