WWE News: Superstar Out With Injury At WWE Performance Center

An injured WWE Superstar could be nearing a return!

It’s been quite some time since the WWE Universe has gotten a glimpse of former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers, making their last appearance on the August 21st episode of SmackDown Live where they lost the titles to The New Day.

Of course, this was all due to an injury suffered by Rowan two days prior to losing the titles at SummerSlam, suffering a torn bicep that would require surgery (see the original story here). While it was never specified exactly how long Rowan would be out of the ring, it was believed that he could be back in the 4-6 month range, which is a pretty typical recovery time for such an injury.

Today, it looks like that time frame was fairly accurate as we are now around the four month mark and PWInsider is reporting that Rowan has been down in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center yesterday to work towards getting back in the squared circle.

At this time it’s not clear if Rowan was at the Performance Center training or possibly just meeting with the training staff and it’s not known when he could return to television. Generally speaking, when Superstars who have been out with an injury start popping up at the Performance Center, it’s the last steps towards gaining clearance. However, it should be noted that is not always the case as we recently saw with reports that Fandango has been at the PC (check that out here), but there has been no update on his return since.
