WWE News: Tag Team Returning To Action As Soon As Next Week’s SmackDown Live

One of SmackDown Live’s teams is ready to return!

There has been a rash of WWE Superstars out with injury in recent months, which we’ve seen indication that some of those talents are nearing their returns to the ring after being down at the company’s Performance Center in Orlando over the past few weeks.

Today, PWInsider is reporting that former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers will finally be back on the road as soon as next week’s episode of SmackDown Live. Rowan has been out of action with a torn biceps since August, an injury he sustained at SummerSlam in the duo’s title defense against The New Day. Two days later on SmackDown Live, The New Day would win the championships so that The Bludgeon Brothers could be written off of television.

Since Rowan’s absence, Harper has not been used and was most recently seen sporting a cast on his left hand. There have been no specific updates on that, however it appears as if he too has been fully cleared. At this time it’s not known exactly when The Bludgeon Brothers will be back on television.

Among the other Superstars out with injury who have recent been at the Performance Center are Fandango, Sin Cara and Sami Zayn (read about Sin Cara and Sami here).
