WWE News: Update On Goldust’s Recovery From Knee Surgeries

Goldust provides an update on his recovery!

It’s been a number of months now since the last time the WWE Universe saw Dustin Runnels, of course better known as WWE Superstar ‘The Bizarre One’ Goldust.

Runnels, who just celebrated the thirty year anniversary of his professional wrestling debut this past September, has been out of action since the Summer after undergoing surgery on both of his knees. While there has recently been some speculation that perhaps the three-time Intercontinental Champion may look to make his way to All Elite Wrestling where his brother Cody is the Executive Vice President, it appears as if he’s much closer to a WWE return.

In speaking with WrestlingInc’s WINCLY podcast, Goldust revealed he was set for an evaluation this week and expects to be fully cleared:

“Wednesday at the Performance Center is my next evaluation and I believe we’re gonna probably get me cleared that day. So I’m hoping. They put stem cells in both knees and my knees feel a lot better. I’m feeling pretty good.”

Prior to his surgery, there had been rumors that Goldust may be hanging the boots up for good, but of course we now know that was nothing more than just rumor.
