Andrew’s IMPACT Youtube Ratings & Analysis (2/1/2019)
Which video was the most viewed on YouTube, after this week’s IMPACT?
A look at the YouTube performance for this week’s IMPACT!
As we all know, social media and other outlets have become a huge means of drawing in interaction and viewers for WWE. Most people will point to television ratings like they did during the Monday Night Wars in the late 1990’s, however that can be skewed with so many various means of watching today that do not include cable television.
As you’ve become accustomed to with WWE product, let’s resurrect the Impact Youtube! Here is this week’s IMPACT YouTube Report, compiled approximately 48 hours after IMPACT went off the air:
- Su Yung & Dark Allie vs Jordynne Grace & Kiera Hogan – 115k views
- Fallah Bahh vs Psycho Clown – 53k views
- Scarlett Bordeaux Trains by the pool – 52k views
- Johnny Impact & Brian Cage vs Moose & Killer Kross – 46k views
- Eli Drake & Eddie Edwards vs The Rascalz – 45k views
Ratings Analysis:
Well looking back at our older IMPACT YouTube reports, the views still seem fairly close. After Scarlett, Alexa and Mandy set Youtube on fire a few weeks ago, I noticed that segments with Allie and Rosemary seem to track strongly. It also helps that it’s one of their longest running storylines, so it’s nice to see the interest is still there.
Fallah is a big lovable boy, so THAT, coupled with Psycho Clown being the biggest name in AAA probably helped to garner a few extra clicks.
Scarlett’s clip wasn’t really sexy, it’s the emasculating side of her. So while she still looks sexy, she’s just treating Bobo like crap and beats on him a little. I’m pretty sure there’s a niche section of the internet into that…so yeah, I’m gonna just stop there.
The last two slots are fairly recent stories that have been heating up since the move to Pursuit/Twitch. It’s nice to see the numbers are respectable, compared to the rest.
Conspicuous in his absence, Sami Callihan “The Draw” isn’t seen on this list. Granted he wasn’t on the show save for Rich Swann going over their past, but come on, Sami is supposed to be the MVP of IMPACT. Sheesh…slacker.
All in all, I say it’s nice that people who usually checked out their YouTube still are, even with the more obscure channel and immediate backlash. Now that we have a new starting point, analysis moving forward should be a little easier. So let’s throw in the number 1 video for posterity and see how things trend in the future!
