WWE Elimination Chamber Results: Shane McMahon & The Miz vs. The Usos

The Usos challenged Shane McMahon & The Miz for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship in the second match at WWE Elimination Chamber.

Prior to the match, The Miz & Maryse announced that they are having another baby, their second. As is becoming more of the norm in WWE, both teams got a great pop for their entrances and the crowd was solidly behind all four men early on. As Greg DeMarco noted on Twitter, all four men were working in their merch tonight. That’s marketing!

Shane would connect with a Coast to Coast on one Uso, but ate a superkick on the second courtesy of the other Uso. The pinfall attempt by Jay on Shane was broken up by Miz. Miz hit a slingshot Double Axe Handle, which seemed to surprise even himself.

Miz would later hit a DDT, again showing why his is one of the most underrated in the business. Shane wold later “connect” with an elbow off the top through an Uso on the announce table. Miz then had a pinfall attempt on an Uso, who then rolled into a Crucifix Pin to capture the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, their sixth overall.
