Now that we have the winner of the N-1, the build for the October show begins! Hisame fills us in on the story developments!

EVENT RECAP
NOAH held the first date in their current tour (which will take them up to Sumo Hall) at Imesse Yamanashi on September 23rd. As Masao Inoue is the prefecture local (he is not from the city though), and a “local hero” according to Referee Shu Nishinaga, he was given flowers.

Takashi Sugiura has been too busy trolling Shuhei Taniguchi this week to stalk him with his phone.

I am afraid that I don’t have too much information on the show itself other than mainly results.

Kaito Kiyomiya did the NOAH’s Ark Fanclub pictures, and said somewhat sadly, that not much time remains to him to hold the old belt, and so he wants to show it to as many people as possible.

All was quiet on the GHC Junior Heavyweight front as HAYATA is still absent with flu, but on the GHC Junior Heavyweight tag front, STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki) defended the GHC Junior Heavyweight tag belts against The Sugiura Army (Hajime Ohara & NOSAWA Rongai) with Yoshinari Ogawa using a submission move that NOSAWA uses (Ultra High School La Mahistral) to defeat them.

Afterwards RATELS (Tadasuke and Daisuke Harada) came out to the ring after the match to square up to STINGER, and the usual fight broke out with Tadasuke giving a somewhat crazy promo afterwards about winning the belts. STINGER vs RATELS will take place on 3rd October at Korakuen Hall.

After the match, Yoshinari Ogawa said that he had never been interested in defending the titles against The Sugiura Army, he had nothing to say about Ohara, but it was really more NOSAWA who he had no interest in ever wrestling. During his post match promo he said that he felt the Juniors were far more interesting than the heavyweights, even RATELS got praise for that.

Kaito Kiyomiya took the win over Yoshiki Inamura by using his new submission move which he says is a combination of Mitsuharu Misawa’s chin lock and Toshiaki Kawada’s stretch. Unusually for Kiyomiya he took a shot at Kenoh in the post match interview, and said that he would be using it on him next at Korakuen Hall…

“COME AT ME YOU BASTARDS” ~ KENOH’S COLUMN

Kenoh’s tri weekly rant came out in this weeks “Weekly Pro”, and although he was pictured standing next to a big sign for the stage play of “The Lion King”. Sadly, we never found out whether or not he went to see it.

We can also add KENTA to Kenoh’s enemies list as apparently “that fucking bastard in Kagoshima” heard about Kenoh’s N-1 VICTORY win, which makes me wonder whether this is building towards something, especially since KENTA posted a picture of one of Kenoh’s last ranting columns mentioning him on his Instagram.

Aside from that Kenoh spoke about the N-1, defeating Takashi Sugiura, gave encouragement (unusually) to Marufuji who will be appearing in IMPACT in October, and then the live show in October which he says he did in the shadows as LIDET were intent on oppressing him (and they are not invited either).

The talk show will take place on October 19th, but to Kenoh, this is October 15th. October 15th is Takeshi Morishima’s birthday, and it was also going to be the date the ill fated “Genesis” was to take place on in 2018. I doubt very much that Takeshi Morishima will be making an appearance (as I don’t think we will be seeing Morishima again), but Kenoh says that although the 15th and the 19th are four days apart, and this will not be Korakuen, he will do what LIDET couldn’t.

The event will also feature a photo opportunity, and a lottery of which will be some of Kenoh’s personal items (usually old t-shirts and ring wear). When asked about another article about the event, Kenoh apparently told “Weekly Pro”, “I don’t want to see you twice in one week!”.

“MEETING FOR MUSCLES”

As Naomichi Marufuji is the Tourist Ambassador for his hometown of the rural Konosou, Saitama, NOAH wrestlers participated in a small event on the 29th September in the area. Nothing of any note relating to what is currently happening in NOAH really happened, except that Kenoh made a comment on Twitter the night before stating that the event was being organized by some guy whose name he couldn’t remember, but was from Konosou and they called him a “genius”. He wasn’t going to look up who it was now, he would do that tomorrow as it wasn’t important! Marufuji reminded him of who it was. Kaito Kiyomiya got caught in the AXIZ chop-kick sandwich, and Go Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji had a chop war.

Sugiura also trolled Inoue before the event started.

At the event NOAH wrestlers took part in much more than just wrestling, they posed for pictures with fans (Takashi Sugiura holding a sleepy baby and saying he remembered when his own children were young, babies cry 80% of the time, but the outcome is a deep sleep), and Naomichi Marufuji, Mohammed Yone, Masao Inoue, Junta Miyawaki, Hitoshi Kumano and Quiet Storm took part in a tug-of-war against elementary school children, who they let win.

YONEYA

YO-HEY (who turned up wearing the same t-shirts that HAYATA wore for the GHC Junior Heavyweight match signing, and for the RATELS MEGARAGE appearance in August), was the one day manager of Mohammed Yone’s family restaurant.

Hajime Ohara will be the one day manager in October (and will probably end up running the place).

November’s one day manager will be announced on October 6th (I think the event will take place the day before Sumo Hall, on November 1st) at 11am JST.
