King: Dave Mastiff Next In Line For WALTER

Chris King is intrigued about the idea of “The Bomber” Dave Mastiff versus WALTER as his next challenger for the WWE United Kingdom Championship.

On this week’s episode of NXT UK “The Bomber” Dave Mastiff made his return following his Last Man Standing Match against Gallus’s Joe Coffey at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff. Mastiff made quick work of Kenny Williams after drilling him in the corner with his Cannon Ball Senton dubbed “Into The Void.”

At TakeOver Cardiff, the NXT UK Universe bared witness to one of the biggest battle of behemoths as Mastiff and Coffey tore each other apart. Immediately met his rival at the ramp and blasted him with a steel chain. The action finally made it’s way inside the ring as both Mastiff and Coffey brawled. The Bomber whipped Coffey so hard that the turnbuckle broke.

The action naturally would spill outside and into the crowd with both behemoths beating the holy hell out of each other. In one of the wildest scenes I’ve ever seen, Mastiff grabbed two chairs and handed one to his rival and both men began human jousting.

The ending of the match (if you want to call it that), saw Mastiff and Coffey crash through the announce table after a headbutt. Both competitors pulled themselves up while holding onto wheeled travel crates but at last second Coffey kicked Mastiff’s crate ensuring he was the last man standing.

At the same event, the monstrous WALTER successfully defended his United Kingdom Championship against Tyler Bate in an epic encounter. The challenger took the champion to the limit proving size is only a number but in the end, WALTER took his head off with a MASSIVE lariat to retain his title.  Recently, WALTER has had his hands full over on NXT with the Japanese sensation KUSHIDA but there’s been no mention of his next challenger.

As of right now there is not another NXT UK TakeOver announced for the remainder of the year but I believe that “The Bomber” would give the United Kingdom Champion one hell of a fight. This would be a Clash of Titans matchup that would give the NXT UK Universe a moment they would never forget as both Mastiff and WALTER would steal the whole damn show!
