Stars are all over the place as SmackDown hits Fox! But it’s what goes down backstage that matters to the 747, 7/11 24/7 European Television Champion.

Nikki & Brie enjoy being back on SmackDown and say hi to R-Truth. Truth introduces them to Marshmello, who is an old friend of his. But Truth has always wanted to ask: How do Mama and Papa Marshmello have Baby Marshmellos? Carmella runs by and says the rest of the Women’s Division is on their way. They need to get going! But Heavy Machinery comes over, because Dozer wants him a ‘Smores! Marshmello runs for his life, but topples over onto Carmella! A referee happens to be nearby and counts the cover! Marshmello WINS!

Winner: Marshmello, by pinfall; NEW WWE 24/7 Champion

The DJ isn’t sure what to make of this, but he slaps Otis’ graham crackers away. The chase is on again, but for more reasons than just the title!

Later in the night, Marshmello is still running!

The DJ finds his ride, but when he opens the door, ANOTHER Marshmello is inside?! The doppel ganger gets out of the SUV and Marshmello isn’t sure what to make of him. But wait, is that a MISS Marshmello? She rolls Marshmello up, a ref counts, Miss Marshmello wins! Wait, it’s Carmella!

Winner: Carmella, by pinfall; NEW WWE 24/7 Champion

The FABULOUS Princess gets her gold back, and both she and Truth hijack Marshmello’s ride! All Hail the new two-time 747 7/11 European Champion, “Marshmella!”

My Thoughts:

For those confused as to why this is a separate article, I have a simple answer: I missed the shout out to these segments during SmackDown on Fox. But this was still some decent fun sprinkled in the background of a rather up-and-down SmackDown. This title is obviously trying to check off every possible genre of celebrity it can, so who knows who is next. I hope we get more actual WWE women getting this title, though, to really freshen things up. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t go the Bella route and let the twins hot potato that belt before Mella gets it back. Maybe another special moment for the WWE brings that about.
